Hi All;

I have a Cavalry ext. HD, for use with Win 7 LT.

It is protected by USB Secure.

I plug it in, it assigns itself the I drive, I click into that, click the usb secure password protect prgm., it opens, I type in password, click unprotect- Problem- instead of opening the drive so I can see, manipulate the folders files on a new drive letter, I get a message-

"Location is not available

Z:\refers to a location that is unavailable. It could be on a hard drive on this computer, or on a network."

I went to Computer mgt. looked it over, the name of my ext. drive is 'carls back up', and indeed, it shows as;

-Carls back up (I: ) NTSF Healthy ( active, primary partition)

The Z: drive is unassigned.....:heink: I don't know why it won't open there....or, any other open drive.....

I have a screen shot of that but don't see an option to post it...

anyway, any advice?
