CPU fan error

When I start up my computer, an error pop ups that says "CPU fan error, press F1 to resume".

I'm not noticing anything unusual on my computer, and this started happening after installing a new CPU fan. Is it something serious or is my motherboard just having trouble with the CPU fan or is there something wrong in my BIOS?

Thanks in advance!

In bios there is an option asking if to alert or not, if the fan is running slow. Since you are not using the stock cooler the bios thinks that the fan is running too slow. If you are sure that your fan is working fine, disable this feature. You'll have to look through your bios for that option.
