help me to choose motherboard best combination

i was in a confusion to choose which mother is best with intel i5 . is it asus or gigabyte. motherboard. i am planing to buy a GTX 760 graphic card. 8 gb ram too

anymore, just about any of the 4 main manufacturers are quality units (Asus, AsRock, MSI, Gigabyte).

Myself, it would depend on what I was building, but typically I find Asus to be the best in terms of quality, ease of use, and product support. My next choice is AsRock, then MSI, then Gigabyte.

However, it also has to do with features or color schemes I am going for with a given particular build.

Regardless, as long as you get a motherboard from any manufacturer I mentioned, you should be fine.

Both are very good brands, also ASRock and MSI. I personally like ASUS but there are just as many here who say the same of GB and ASRock, sort of a loyalty following. It seems today the MB has little effect on performance, they all function very well and do the job.

ok, the i5 3470 is a socket 1150 cpu, so you would be looking at socket 1150 motherboards.

However, the i5 2400 is socket 1155, so it would require a socket 1155 motherboard.

Two different socket cpus, you will need to determine exactly which one you will get for us to help.
