Hello Could anyone tell me if these components will work together

Cpu - haven't selected one yet could you recommend one preferably i3 or cheap i5

I would get an fx-6300 and an AM3+ motherboard. Get an xfx550 PSU for around the same price but WAY better quality.

This system will let you play modern games at a mix of medium and high.

Also, you can;'t use this RAM. It will violate the warranty because ONLY 1.5v RAM is acceptable for this CPU and you risk damaging the CPU by running the memory controller at too high of a voltage. Get 1.5v RAM FOR SURE.
