Is the ram ok?

I put in my ram sticks on. My aftermarket cooler is too big though. When i installed it, the ram stick is slighty bent while in the motherboard. is that ok?

No. You don't want to put that kind of side pressure on RAM modules, it will probably damage the slots. Just change your cooling configuration. What ram and what cooler are you currently running?

might work, but not a good situation. Should have done your homework and bought low-profile memory or picked a different cpu cooler that wouldn't interfere with the RAM slots.

Yeah that's some really tall RAM. Can you mount your EVO fan on the other side of heatsink in a pull config or just slide the fan up a touch?

Just raise the fan above the DRAM, it attaches with side clips to the fins, cooler will still work fine
