I recently built this gaming PC and I was wanting to start streaming. I'm pretty sure my system itself is capable of the feat but I would like you opinions.

Also I know ISPs are based off of where you live but are there any suggestions you guys could make to me about how to go about selecting one?...steps I have to take, etc.

Thank you all for your help.

I just bout the cheapest 50/10 I could afford. Happened to be comcast.

50/20 stands for download speed/ upload speed. in mbps.

Anything over 20/10 is really fine for everyday use but you really want to get something like 50/20 for streaming or hardcore multiplayer online stuff.

It all depends on what yo are willing to have your monthly payments be. Mine is bundled in with my digital cable (basic digital cable package, about 250 channels). all together its costs $90 a month.

Since I'm 17 I don't have much say over what is spent in this house. Although I do have a job that I would be willing to pay an extra costs that may come up for the internet. We have Dish as our TV provider (not changing) and Time Warner as our ISP with the standard plan. Yea, it sucks. So I was looking for more options. Could you show me examples of 20/10 and 50/20 plans?

Also consider this. Your location of your house can determine what internet speed can be avalible to you. I know in my apartment complex its a comcast facilitated complex and the only highest service I could pay for was 50/10. Just like tiny voices I have the same package but pay 74.99$ before taxes.

This is what I am talking about. It all depend son location. I pay $25 more for the same service.
