Hi forum - in need of some help here.
So it was my birthday two weeks ago and I'd always wanted to build my own personal gaming PC to replace my 5 year old machine. I purchased the following components and put them together pretty easily and simply:
CPU: i5 4670k 3.4ghz
MoBo: GA-Z87X-D3H
RAM: Corsair vengeance 8GB 1600mhz
CPU Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo
Video Card: Gigabyte GTX760 2GB windforce
Wireless Network Card: Asus PCE N15
Case: Corsair 300r
PSU: Corsair 600m
Hard Drive: WD1002FAEX 1TB (didn't purchase this, used it from my last PC)
OS: Windows 7 Home Premium OEM

Once the assembly was complete, I powered it up and put the Windows 7 OEM disk in. It passed the POST and went into installing Windows 7 - the installation was flawless. Upon completion of installing I then installed the MoBo, video card and network card drivers from the CD's that came with the product - these also went okay, so I proceeded to download the needed program's for a PC; chrome, anti virus, etc. An hour or two after installing program's, I got my first BSOD; unfortunately I can't remember what it said, but I've had this new PC for about a week now and I'm regularly getting BSOD. Popular errors such as Bad Pool Header and Memory Management. Also, sometimes when booting up, after the Windows 7 splash screen happens, I'll just receive a black screen with just the cursor.

So far, the only action I have take is doing a CHKDSK as I'm not a software wizz.

Any help or suggestions would strongly be supportive.
Thanks, Cam.
