How do I know if a new GPU will be compatible with my old mobo?

So I have a computer that's showing its age now:

I'd like to upgrade the graphics card to something about $160, like an R7 260X, just wondering how to check if this will be compatible with the mobo etc. My first thought was pcpartpicker but the mobo isn't on there. What am I looking for guys? I'd also like to add another few gigs of RAM perhaps, but should I be upgrading to DDR3? Does the mobo even support that? I can't afford a new mobo or anything really, so looking to see what I can do for around 150-200 dollars for both those upgrades.
Thanks a lot! :)

Based on what I could find , your motherboard will not support DDR3 and the price of DDR2 memory is fairly high ($85 4GB). As for the graphics card , I'm not yet sure what the best card your setup will support.
