Hey,

I'm having some difficulty picking between the Intel 530 120gb (89.99) SSD or the Kingston HyperX 3K 120gb SSD (79.99). I recently bought a Kingston SSDNow V300 120gb but will be returning for one of the above. I have looked the write speeds and they seem to be similar, except the IOPS for the HyperX look higher. Kingston provides a 3 year warranty but intel provides at 5 year warranty. I really have no idea which one is faster and which one is the better deal. I'v looked through a number of sites looking for somewhat of a comparison but uncovered nothing. Please help.

Thank you

The HyperX is faster but you probably won't notice much difference between the two. Both have listed fast speeds. I can say from experience that the HyperX is great. Installed and loaded Win7 HP 64Bit just over 14 months ago and it has been perfect since. No problems, just amazing speed. You will most likely be happy with the Intel ssd, especially if you really want the longer warranty for peace of mind.

Thanks for the reply. Would you say then that the Intel 530 worse then the HyperX 3k? if they are equal then I would probably go for the 5 year warranty(intel) vs 3 year warranty(kingston) for the extra 10 dollars. Im just not sure who to compare 2 SSD's side by side. which stats are important, which are not as important.
