Hi everyone, my first post in the .uk version of this amazing website and I need your help!

I am thinking of skip this next gen console for the time being as they are kind of PC and I rediscovered the joy of steam too! I am planning to build in a micro ATX case the below configuration and I wanted to have some opinions:

Motherboard: Asus M5A78L-M/USB3 Motherboard
Product Type : Motherboard - micro ATX
Chipset Type : AMD 760G / AMD SB710
Max Bus Speed : 2600 MHz
Max Supported Memory : 16 GB
Supported RAM Technology : DDR3 SDRAM

Processor: AMD Piledriver FX-8 Eight Core 8350 4.00Ghz AM3+

Memory: Corsair Vengeance Blue 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 PC3-15000 C9 1866MHz Dual Channel

Graphic: MSI AMD Radeon R7 260X OC 2GB GDDR5

Hard Drive: SanDisk SSD SATA III 2.5" 128GB

Optical: LiteOn DS-6E2SH Slim SATA Blu-ray

The solid state drive would be only to speed up the boot and I would then leave a more standard 7200rpm hard drive to deal with files and other apps.

All the above shopping around comes to slightly less than £500.00 it may vary a little bit as I am still unsure about what case would be idea, I want a small case so to give it a less computer look!

WHAT DO YOU THINK?

Thank you in advance :)

Thank you :) Yes I think it would be an overall good gaming conf without spending a fortune!

My problem is that at the moment I did not find many Micro Atx cases that suit my need I saw this on amazon. Not even sure if 300W will be enough!

Thanks! Yep I found a Be-Quiet 450W I have also thought to swap the graphic card with a R9 for only £40 difference between the two there is a fairly big gap in frame rate!

I have redistribute money coming down to this final build:

Motherboard: Asus M5A97 LE R2.0 Motherboard
Processor: AMD FX6300 Black Edition 6 Core
Memory: Corsair Vengeance 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 1600 Mhz
Graphic: SAPPHIRE AMD Radeon R9 270X Dual-X OC 2GB GDDR5

I have checked quite a lot of benchmark and the FX6300 is the best option for gaming, with the money I save from there I can get a R9 270X, I think overall should give a me a "next-gen" configuration and with that motherboard I still have room to upgrade in future!

What do you think?
