So yeah guys, i've got a little question.
Will the Corsair RM 850Watt power supply be sufficient to run this rig:
-Intel Core i7-3770K (upgrade plan for i7-5930K when it releases)
-Asrock z77 Extreme 4 (upgrade plan for Asus ROG Rampage IV or V if it hits for Haswell-E)
-Corsair Vengeance 1600MHz (upgrade plan for Corsair Dominator 32GB 2400MHz)
-Custom liquid cooling loop (planning to cool cpu and gpu somewhere next year)
-2x AMD Radeon R9 290X [Crossfire] (waiting for aftermarket coolers and somewhere next year liquid cooling)
-Asus Xonar Essence STX
-Samsung 840 Pro 256GB
-Western Digital Caviar Black 2TB
I know that not all power consumption numbers are know yet, but i'd love to have you guys help me think about it. If the psu isn't sufficient would the Corsair RM 1000Watt psu be better?
also would the Corsair AX860i be much better than the RM850, in terms of connectivity and C-Link?
Many thanks for helping out.
Sincerely,
Gecko
