I am doing a new build and have bought two gtx 760 gigabyte windforce 4gb editions, and I was wondering, was it a bad decision? Will I be looking to upgrade my gpu's in a years time or will they still be more than sufficient?
Thanks

-Toby

Solution
4GB's GPU cards in SLI should be more than sufficient unless you are going extreme resolutions, but I don't think you can get a gaming card with one GPU with more than 4GB at the moment. The 760's fall between the 660ti and 670 as far as performance.

You should be fine.

The titan is two GTX670 chips on one PCB running with a 384bit memory bus rather than 256bit. Its not really the same thing :)

the 7990 is also two chips on one PCB and the Quadro 6000 is a $2000 workstation card not made for gaming.

You guys want me to change my statement or you going to keep finding exceptions to my statement? :p

Technically the Quadro is really good for gaming, just not what it was designed for. :)

To add, I think you'll find dual 760's a good investment.

2 760s in sli with 4GB will be more then enough and will be good for gaming for a long time.

Splendid
Not a bad decision at all , you are going to have a really fast gaming system , the 4GB you chose will give it longevity, you will be able to play any game you throw at it and you wont have to upgrade anytime soon. Enjoy!
