Hello, Basically, just wondering, is it okay if a ATX motherboard is the dimensions of 12.0" x 8.9"

Yes, 12" x 9.6" is more common, but that is a standard ATX size.

B85 -> H87 -> Z87

H87 is basically a full featured board without overclocking. Including things like SLI and Crossfire support. Usually made with decent components.

B class boards are what you would find in your average consumer or business class PC. Basic features and usually adequate components.

Pertaining to the dimensions are you trying to fit it inside of a case or a certain configuration?

Well the case supports ATX motherboards and the dimensions are large enough so you have space for additional add-ons.
