Hey, I was not sure where to post this so I decided to post it in Windows 8 as it is my OS.
I have an Asus x502ca notebook. During games such as GunZ and s4league, it crashes. The sound loops, making it sound like slashing but constantly. The times vary. It could be two hours in, it could be ten minutes in. I have to reset it via the power button (No blue screen, just a cold reset.) I have checked the temperatures whilst playing these two games; they don't exceed 70 celcius. I have kaspersky installed onto it, however, when I disabled it, the error still occured. I enabled gaming profile, the error still occured. I am starting to wonder whether it's Windows. I have played steam games, and they work perfectly fine without any crashes. (TF2, Nail'd) Here are my specs:
Windows 8
4GB Memory, 500GB HDD
Dual Core
1.5 GHz processor. (pretty bad)
(If this isn't enough information, it's all displayed here: https://www.asus.com/uk/Notebooks_Ultrabooks/X502CA/#specifications)

Is that 70C on the CPU? or the GPU? Either way, that's much hotter than they really should be run. I'll admit I'm a bit of a freak when it comes to cooling, as I start to worry when any part starts creeping up over 50-55C, but the cooler you can keep something, the longer it generally lasts.
