High Resolution Textures: No Option HELP PLEASE!!!

I have a proper legal, store-bought version of C2 on a single disc.
It is not Maximum or Decimation Pack
It does not use Steam or Origin Launchers.
I have installed it
I have Win 7 64-Bit with DirectX 11 (confirmed)
I have Core i7-3820 3.6GHz; 16GB RAM; 2GB Dedicated nVidia GeForce 770 all in a Desktop PC.
I have installed Crysis 2 v1.9 patch + Crysis 2 High Res Textures DX11 Pack.
I have game resolution set in-game to 1920x1080
All other setting to Ultra.

Problem:
The game does not allow me to switch to High Res Textures.
Still suggests I need to download it and refers to MyCrysis website which does not exist and the new site has NO download links for High Res DX11 Update, just videos and pictures and this forum.
Clicking on the area of the game screen that clearly says "No" (alongside "High Res Textures") does absolutely nothing.

In all my years of gaming, I have never been so thoroughly pissed at a game and such poor official website that offers NO help or links to get what I need to make a game I fully paid for to work.

I get why people pirate software now.

Please help and stop this madness for me.

Try downloading from here: http://www.techpowerup.com/downloads/2015/crysis-2-high-res-texture-pack/

I've found that all the Crysis games that I've played, required me to go to 3rd party sites for patches. They do not seem their own site to download stuff from. Just search "Crysis 2 high res texture pack download" and you'll find sites.

DRM can suck when you specifically buy your games on disc, but you may try registering your key through Steam and/or Origin. It will probably simplify the patching process.

On a side note, although I enjoyed a lot of the benefits of buying, sharing, and trading games back in the day, it would be nice to have downloadable versions of games I bought but no longer have copies of because my mom threw the discs away during spring cleaning.

Thanks guys for your thoughts, but I have a solution now no thanks to EA or Crytek.

The whole saga cannot be over-stated that this has been the most frustrating issue I've ever experienced in installing, registering and updating a new (new for me) game.

The sheer lack of ownership by EA who have gone to such lengths to advertise falsely about the specs of this game and failure to provide back up support is truly astounding.

This is one customer who is not in any way delighted with the product and service.

I have found through external sources unrelated to EA and Crytek that there are two patches, not one. and they needed a systematic approach to patch the game correctly and avoid issues.
So not only do you need Win 7 64-bit + DirectX 11, but you need the Crysis 2 DX11 Patch + the Crysis 2 High Res Textures Patch.

No thanks to the game for pointing me to a website that does not exist and then redirects me to one that is nothing but advertising for videos and pictures of the game and NO downloads.
