I´m building a system with an i5 4570 and 2x4gb 1600mhz. I narrowed down my choice to one of these mb: gigabyte ga-z87m-d3h or ga-h87m-d3h, The only difference is that the z87 allows RAM overclock speeds higher than 1600 while the h87 not. I could get a faster RAM in future so I might use the z87 capability but my question is, since the i5 4570 natively supports only 1333 1600 DDR3 is there a sense in paying extra for the z87??? or the i5 4570 chip will allow me to use speeds faster than 1600???

since your CPU is a non K version, you have limited OC options(even on a Z87 chipset), so I recommend a H87 chipset mobo, the internal memory controler from i5-4570 has support for 1600 mhz only, as you have a locked CPU you wont be able to go beyond 1600mhz anyway.
saving some money that you can use the extra money on other harware, like a SSD for instance.

I thought the K versions of the CPU had only to do with overclocking the CPU speed but the DDR3 speed could be overclocked above 1600mhz with a proper mobo and without a K CPU. That means with the i5 4570 I won´t be able to use faster DDR3 than 1600?? If so I feel like this i5 4570 system would not be future proof for faster memory if i wanted to replace it
