I ran GPU-Z in the background while playing Battlefield 4
And i have found the GPU core mhz drops from 1000mhz to 300 or 500mhz when the fps drops in game
The VDCC Drops from 1.169 to 0.950 as well. The FPS drops seem to be random but consistent from every 1-3 minutes.

CPU and GPU is running cool no more than 60C

My setup is
ASrock Mobo
AMD FX 8350 4ghz
Gigabyte 7950 3gb GPU
8gb Corsair DDR3 1866 RAM

any help would be great.
Thanks.!

Don't worry! Tons of people have been getting problems with Battlfield 4. I have answered about 10 questions saying pretty much the same thing. I would give you a list of things to try, but everyone else said they didn't work. Just wait for EA to get off their ass and fix everything :p

I thought it was throttling as well so the only thing i turned off was the AMD Cool n Quiet feature..... i hope this is a BF4 specific issue.... I will try Counterstrike and report back

CS works fine maxed out.
and i just did the FURmark stress test for 15min with my GPU maxed out 76C (which has never gotten that high with BF4) with GPU-Z running in the background and the mhz and voltage did not drop once.

Its starting to look like BF4 is at fault :/

Yeah it's just Battlefield 4. EA is a bit slow on fixing things..
