Solution
We dont need to know what the difference is he's just asking how many FPS will 660 get on BF4. I have answered his question many times. Can you just choose a solution so these guys will stop fighting? Also you could get the 7870 (not as good as the 660) or the 660 for 170$. 7870 will get you 40FPS and the 660 will get you 45FPS. Hurry up and choose a solution so these guys will stop arguing with each other before they go to their houses and eat each other.

nope not on high for 60. From what ive read, the 660 will play on 40FPS without overclocking. I dont really recommend overclocking until i REALLY need it. And play on medium or low for at least 60FPS.

40 fps average on Ultra should translate to about 60 on high with no AA.

Wat.
The 760 is based off a completely different architecture than the 660. That's like saying the modern day Pentium dual cores are the 'more advanced version' of the old E2000 ones.

That's what ive been trying to say, it will NEVER run on high 60fps without OCing.

I'm running this card myself, though from Asus. I've done a big of overclocking and this thing can play BF4 on high settings with 55fps+ in most areas.
Only exception is large areas where it can dip down too 40.

On medium i'm 60fps+ all the time with no lag whatsoever.

I'm using a FX-8350 currently clocked att 4.4ghz

That overclock on your CPU would get you that many frames.

Sorry but that's bullshit. The 760 is a stripped down 660ti chip with a wider memory bus.
And to op: if your main concern is bf4, get an AMD card. They are doing much better in the final release. Even a hd7870/r9 270x would be better for bf4 than a 660. Best bet would be a hd7950 or even a 7970/280x

I was talking about the 660 (which he mentioned originally), not the 660 ti. Now who's full of bullshit?

And who's again talking bullshit? A 660ti is the exact same Kepler architecture like the 760 and 660

Kepler != GK104

The 660 TI and 760 both use the same basic chipset, GK104.

The 660 uses GK106, which is weaker. Think of the 660Ti and 760 as two i5s, and the 660 as an i3 with the same architecture.

yeah exactly. it was YOU who stated that they "are based off a completely different architecture than the 660. That's like saying the modern day Pentium dual cores are the 'more advanced version' of the old E2000 ones."
and thats wrong. same architecture, but different chip

i guess you havent seen benches of the final game with the new catalyst? radeons perform much better than the nvidias, a hd7870 is on par with a 660ti
