Power requirements for my build

How much power do you think this :http://pcpartpicker.com/p/1WAzF will need? I chose 600w psu, but the r9 r90x seems like it would guzzle up a lot of power, knowing amd.

TDP on the R9 290X is effectively 300W so 600W should be enough.

It's enough but try to pick a higher quality unit. CX is a low-end strict budget unit, maybe get the TX 650 or some from other manufacturers like SeaSonic (S12II, or G-series), XFX or Enermax
