So most of us know bf4 has been ver dodgy for PC so far. This is when it began, i got battlefield 4 and installed the new R331 Game Ready Driver for my GTX 770, on my M5A99FX.PRO.R2.0 mobo. BF4 kept crashing, then my screen kept going black and i had to force shutdown and restart. after a couple of times, the computer just shut down, i tried turning it on again and the VGA LED shone. I reseated it and it worked fine. Couple of days later, same thing happens, i reseat it and it doesnt work, ive moved it to another x16 slot and it works now, what could be wrong with my other slot, is it permenantly broken?

Thanks :)

Based on the VGA debug LED and the system crashes in BF4, I would definitely associate the issue with the GPU. Installing new drivers shouldn't cause any physical damage to your motherboard. Make sure you have the latest motherboard BIOS installed, and reset the CMOS on your motherboard, then try booting with the card in the original PCI-E slot.

If none of this works, uninstall all Nvidia drivers, and install the previous version you were using.
