Hello, so my CPU temp was reaching 90 C for quite a few days and 10 minutes ago I replaced the paste, I cleaned everything with 99% alcohol and added a dot on the center of the size of a pea (a bit less). I made sure to put everything into place right but I don't see any difference in the temperature after turning the computer on and just browsing the internet. It gets up to 85%.I used Antec 6 compund.

Perhaps the voltage is somehow wrong in my bios? I really can't see anything else making it heat this fast and high.. I'm worried my computer will collapse anytime now.

Any help and suggestions are welcomed.

this processor does reach high temperatures but for web browsing it is too much.preform a BIOS update and if you have over clocked it revert everything.if you have warranty there is nothing more you can do.

How do I perform a BIOS update? Also I remember looking into OCing my CPU but never really did anything (as far as I remember). I also recently changed everything to default in the bios.

Perhaps I applied the paste wrong too? =/

Thanks for the feedback!
