Hi there,

I recently bought another HD7870 for crossfire, not aware of something called "bottleneck" until I plugged the gpu in and it wasnt running to my expectations.
can someone please help me? i dont want $350 to go to waste...

BASIC SETUP

Motherboard- 970a-g46
GPU's- HD7870(GIGABYTE and MSI in crossfire and both OC editions)
Power Supply-700w
CPU fan-ZALMAN CNPS10X OPTIMA

Thanks

1- can you tell what is the exact name of your Power supply?
2- how much RAM?
3- both cards are installed on the PCI-e2 X16 slots right? (the two blue PCI slots)

Did you get a HIGHER FRAME RATE at all in any game?

If so, how much higher in the SAME benchmark or game area?

Also, where do you live that an HD7870 costs $350?

Do you have 64-bit Windows?

Did you use the Crossfire connector cable to link both cards? Are both cards set to the same core and memory speeds?

I have a bridge yes, i live in South africa so R3500 would be $350...
my power supply is Pure Power be quite
8GB ram
in battlefield 4, the frame rate seemed to be worse with two cards and i am using the blue PCI slots

I have no idea how to check the Core andmemory speeds of both cards let alone change them ._.
