I'm looking for a 23 inch monitor and i can't find what suits me more, From colors, contrast, sharpness and pureness ..what will be more enjoyable at playing games and watching movies? Asus monitors, or Samsung monitors?

Solution
They are both amazing brands in whatever they do, although I myself tend to go with Asus on this. I myself have an Asus ve278q and really love it. It is a 27" model but i don't mind that.

When selecting your monitor keep these things in mind:
-response time max: 5ms
-colour depth: 16,7 million colours
-refresh rate: 60/120/144 Herz
-dynamic contrast ratio min: 1000000:1
-TN panel (if you play competirive)
-IPS panel (if you play for the experience)

TN panels are better for playing a lot of fps' but IPS panels give a more cinematic view to everything you do, I myself will buy an IPS panel on my next monitor upgrade.

Hope I helped,

thanks Gecko and huilun02, that helped a lot
i think I'm into the Samsung TN panel because it will give more FPS than the Asus IPS Panel, but if it won't give a noticeable FPS i will go to ASUS cause of the View
another thing..I'm concerning about the viewing angle..is 160 vertical viewing angle is good? i don't sit at right/left angels..but i kindda sit in a low position infront of the screen..like sometimes the bottom of the screen at the top of my head

IPS panels will never show the amazing response time and refresh rates a lot of the TN panels can deliver. The colour reproduction although is breathtakingly spectacular (my opinion).

The viewing angle is just fine, if you do come up with issues you can adjust the screens angle to your view.

ASUS Is Kinda Big And Nice Monitor For Gaming. It Depends On Your GPU , Tough As Well Asus Is HD Its Same As Samsung.Samsung Is Cool For Watching Movies And Play Games. They Are Almost Similar But Samsung Is Long Well And ASUS Is Tall. And Samsung Is Beating ASUS But If Your Talking About Gaming , ASUS Will Win If Your In Dark Place The Quality Of Samsung Is 720 Well In Light Can't Not Be Seen As Well.ASUS Is Good Even Its Dark Or In The brightest room.ASUS Is HD As 1080p.So I Prefer ASUS For Watch Movies. But Samsung Is Nice And The Quality is Nice For Watching Movies But Bad For Gaming Graphics ;) Well So Use Samsung For Watching Movies And 720p HD Tough. But For Gaming Quality Monitor ASUS Will Win 1080p! - So Maybe Both Its Your Choice There's Other Answer I Dont Know Which One I Choose So Many Decision To Decide :) (Sorry For Bad English :p)

-Samsung : Movies 720p HD , ASUS Quality 1080p HD. :/ I Have bad Grammar but good at stuff
