I'd like to get some expert advice about CPU and motherboard choices.
This will be a basic home and business computer.
No Gaming and No Overclocking.
I want to use onboard graphics and do without a discrete graphics card.
I'll be using a micro-ATX board and an Intel Core i3 processor, probably with Windows 7 Home Premium.
Haven't decided yet about 32-bit or 64-bit.
This is all new to me but based on my research I think an H77 or H87 chipset would be best.
Here is what I'm considering.
OR
I'm leaning toward the Haswell. I can get that CPU for the same price as the 3240 this week via Newegg.
The ASRock H87M board is less expensive but that GIGABYTE board looks really good.
I've seen several posts that state that 'you get what you pay for', and that may be particularly true with motherboards.
Are these compatible?
What do you think about these choices?
Thanks.
