R9 280x 3gb or GTX 770 4gb

So as the title says, which one? the gtx 770 is $77 more expensive but I get get Assasins creed 4, splinter cell blacklist and Batman Arkham origin with it. I will mostly be playing Battlefield 4 and Call of duty.

if you plan on playing at 1600p or more, get the 770 for the added VRAM. or if you think those games are a good bundle for 77$, get the 770. otherwise get the 280x

maybe look into getting an ASUS of ASRock board though. MSI isnt known to really be reliable when it comes to motherboards

You don't really need 4gb unless you are gaming on multi-monitor or high resolutions. I would recommend the superclocked GTX 770 instead http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814130921

The GTX 770 performs slightly better, around 5 fps more maybe, and the deal is also great, I would go with the 770, but if you don't want to spend much money, then either go for the MSI GTX 770 for 330 dollars or the R9-280x.

For 1080p 2gb is enough, don't make the same mistake as me and get a 4gb card... I got a 760 ftw 4gb when I could've gotten a much better card... That 3gb thing is just marketing stuff, all you really need is 2gb unless you are running more than 1080p.

I'd go for the 770, great card and it performs really well, excellent game bundle , and yes you don't need the 4GB version if you are playing single monitor at 1080, anything higher than that the 4Gb would be recomended

In my opinion if your getting a msi mobo get a msi gpu. Get the 280x over the 770 since its cheaper . Well you woudnt notice any difference anyway. You can always pick up a copy of bf4 on the bay.
