Does it matter which port i put my RAM in?

Okay, so i have a M5A97 LE R2.0 motherboard, and to me it looks like there are 4 places my ram can go in, 2 being black, 2 being blue, does it matter which place i put my ram in? I currently have 8gb G.Skill Ripjaws X Series RAM, Pic's coming soon for more details. Ram/Motherboard here.

YES! Look in your motherboard's manual, it will tell you what port you put your ram in. Another suggestion, instead of one 8gb ram, it is better to get two 4gb ram.
