NVIDIA 770 or hopefully 780, with an AMD CPU. But which one?

First off, will not go Intel because I am on a budget and saving each penny that I can. I got a AMD motherboard already for awhile and Cant spend an extra 150 on a good Intel motherboard and get an expensive Intel CPU.

Right now I am rocking am AMD Phenom ii x4 965 black edition CPU. Quite popular. But . . . it will not pair up with an NVIDIA 770 would it? I wont even consider over clocking it because I am not good with that and plus I would have to get a liquid cooler. I am considering ... biting the bullet and just going for an 8350 Vishera. Even though 200 bucks is gonna take me awhile to scrounge up. It would be really appreciated if you guys can help me put an idea together of what I should stick to till Christmas. Sales sales sales!

I don't really see a question here...

You're having difficulty scrounging up $200 but you can't decide on a $330 770 or a $500 780?

Obviously if you only have the money for the 770 get that. My advice is any one of THESE:
a) MSI TF
b) Asus DC2U
c) EVGA

I like the Asus the most. Has a nice backplate etc.

Did you know that the 770 comes with three great games?
Batman O, SC Blacklist, AC4

If you have a crappy video card, then get the GTX770 now and the 8350 later, especially if the games are going to disappear. Yes, the 965 would bottleneck the 770 but if you get the 8350 by itself then you are bottlenecked by whatever graphics card you have likely.

Your confused , I think. If your willing to spend on a GTX 780/770 , why not on Intel ? You seem to have money , but are not getting Intel can make up that difference , right ?
Anyways , if your going AMD , get either the 8320 or 8350. I think your good with either. But I will prefer the 8350 if your not OCing. Also dont try a GTX 780 , it will surely bottleneck a lot , so will the GTX 770 , but not as much as that GTX 780. Also I would prefer a R9-280X TBH. Its as good as the GTX 770 , but cheaper and thus will make your wallet happy.

Yeah, watch out. With an 8350 you might lose an entire 3 frames per second! Wow! If you want those 3 back, you better spend twice to three times as much for an i7 4920 so you can get 63 instead of 60.

Why? You can put a Titan on an 8350 and there will be about 3-5 fps difference than with an i7 4920. The 8350 is a great processor. And for your information, I am not an AMD fanboy, and I'm not saying the 8350 is better than an i7, I'm just saying that it is completely overrated, and is a waste of your budget if all you want to do is game. A good graphics card is WAY more important than a "good" cpu, especially if this "good" cpu wont give you very much performance increase.

Edit: That was a really long sentence, oh well.

I would disagree a bit here. The 8350 can keep up with a GTX 760 at its best.
