I've got a PC that I built a little over three years ago that I think is in need of some upgrades now that Battlefield 4 is out. It runs the game fine on lower settings, but I want it to run better (more frames per second on a higher resolution/quality). What should I start with?

This is the first and only PC I've ever built and I have since fallen behind on knowledge of new hardware since then. Even three years ago it wasn't top of the line. Here are the components:

GTX 460
AMD Phenom II X4 945 Deneb 3.0 GHz quad core
ASUS motherboard (I'm away from the computer and I can't recall the model. I'll add that info later)
Corsair PSU 650W
Western Digital caviar blue HD (500GB) 7200 rpm
4 GB (2x2) RAM (Corsair XMS3 DHX) DDR3 1333
Windows 7 64 bit

My first thought is obviously to upgrade the graphics card. But then I'm not sure if my CPU will hold me back and the gains from the video card would be minimal.

Is there a way I can find out for sure what is the weakest link in my system?

Where would you recommend I start?
