I finally decided not to buy a next gen console and build a gaming pc.
Since this is the first time for me I really need some help.
In terms of gaming my main focus is Battlefield 4 and other future games based on the Frostbite 3 engine like Dragon Age: Inquisition and the next Mass Effect installment.
I don't have much so far but this is what I was thinking about:
CPU: i5-4570 (since I don't want to overclock this seems to be the best choice to me)
CPU Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO
Motherboard: I guess any H87 would do the job (any suggestions?)
Memory: 8gb should be enought (haven't decided which manufacturer)
Storage: 1 or 2 GB / no SSD (to save money – maybe I'll buy one in the future)
Video Card: No Idea
Case: Fractal Design Define R4 (seems to be one of the best choices from what I've read)
Power Supply: Seasonic - wattage depending on the gpu (same like the case – seems to be one of the best choices)
So, as you can see my main problem is choosing a video card.
I've seen the GTX 660 as a recommended video card for BF4 but I've also seen the recommended VRAM to be 3gb and the 660 has only 2gb.
I've already bought a monitor, mouse, keyboard and speakers and my remaining budget would be around 1200 for the pc.
