Similar problem with Taskbar: right click popup disappears before I can click inside the popup.
When I right click on an Icon for, lets take Firefox as an example, I get a popup offering (in the example of Firefox) Open new tab, unplug from taskbar, close window etc.
That worked fine up to today. Now the popup disappears sometimes almost instantly but always before I can mouse into the popup to click a selection. I've not (knowingly) installed anything new recently.
I have noticed that in some apps there's a slight flicker every second as if there's a process taking more than its share of CPU. Task manager isn't showing any such task.
I'm currently running a full virus scan but that will take a few hours (Norton)
