Hi Friends:

I have a PC with the following configuration:

Motherboard: ASUS Sabertooth Z87 BIOS Version:1504
CPU: Intel i7-4770K, 3.5 GHZ, 8MB Cache, LGA1150
RAM: Corsair Vengeance Blue 12 GB DDR3 SDRAM Dual Channel Memory Kit CMZ16GX3M4A1600C9B
Video Card: EVGA 02G-P3-1185-AR GeForce GTX285 2048 MB DDR3 PCI-Express 2.0 Graphics Card
Storage: WDC WD3000HLFS-01G6U0 ATA 300GB 10KRPM 16MB SATA-300 (Boot)
WDC WD1001FALS-00J7B0 ATA 1TB 3GB/s (Software)
Western Digital Caviar Black 2 TB SATA III 7200 RPM 64 MB (Data)
PSU: Corsair Enthusiast Series TX 850 Watt ATX/EPS Modular 80 PLUS Bronze (TX850M)
Optical: Pioneer BDR-206DBK 12x Internal Blu-ray Disc/DVD/CD Writer (Black)
Case: Cooler Master HAF 932 Advanced Full Tower Case with SuperSpeed USB 3.0 (RC-932-KKN5-GP)
OS: Windows 8.1 Pro 64 bit with Media Center
Drivers and Tools installed:
- SABERTOOTH Z87 BIOS 1504
- Management Engine Interface V9.5.10.1658 for Windows Win8.1 64bit
- Intel Chipset Driver V9.4.0.1026 for Windows Win8.1

and I would like to know your recommendation if I need to install the following Drivers and Tools:
- Realtek Audio Driver V6.0.1.7023 for Windows Win8.1
- Intel Graphics Accelerator Driver V10.18.10.3262 for Windows Win8.1 (My PC has NVIVDIA v331.65 installed)
- Intel LAN Driver V18.5.54.0 for Windows Win8.1
- ASUS EZ Update V2.01.11 for Windows 8.1
- AI_Suite3 ASUS USB 3.0 Boost V1.06.17 for Windows 8.1
- Intel Smart Connect Technology Software V4.2.40.2357 for Windows 8.1
- Intel AHCI/RAID Driver Path for Windows Win8.1
- Intel Rapid Storage Technology Driver software V12.8.0.1016 for Windows Win8.1

As for additional tools: I´d really install the AI Suite.
I mean, it´s not necessary but you´ll get the Thermal Tuning feature which is quite useful. At least for me.

Thanks for your recommendations...I installed Realtek Audio Driver V6.0.1.7023 for Windows Win8.1 and Intel LAN Driver V18.5.54.0 for Windows Win8.1...let me test my PC and I will report you the performance

That's how you send a PM, the system just acts up occasionally. Sometimes I have have to refresh a few times to open a page. Tom's is aware and working on the problems.

Thanks for share with us your experience about AI Suite...questions:

1. Did you install AI_Suite3 ASUS USB 3.0 Boost V1.06.17 for Windows 8.1 file?
2. Did you need some modification of Sabertooth Z87 or just hardware default ?
3. Is better your PC-Performance with AI Suite?

I did all of those things but the RAID driver thing and i believe I also didnt do smart connect

As said before, you don't have to, but it's not like space is a huge issue, so it doesnt necesarily hurt

In theory the usb 3.0 boost is supposed to make your usb 3 device faster (although i don't have any 3.0 devices at the moment so cannot test yet)
