I am wanting to build myself a Gaming PC instead of buying a Next-Gen console.

It's my first time doing this and I need help choosing parts.

The main function of it will be to play MineCraft and stream movies online. Also, I might want to play modern-day games like BF3/4, Portal 2 and Skyrim but that depends on the spec I can get from my budget.

I have been told to use Intel chips because of their better architecture but I don't mind using AMD processors.
I prefer to have 8GB of RAM and Windows 7 OS but I can change if it helps with the budget! I already have a mouse, monitor and keyboard.

Help is very much appreciated!
