If your goal is a distribution of an existing OS with a special package group like Ubuntu does with edubuntu, kubuntu,mediabuntu, lubuntu,etc... Then you can install remastersys, setup your system the way you like and create an iso that you can share. Always give credit to the original though, it's only polite.
