My son just built a new one for editing video, based on the Asus Hero with a 4770K, 32GB of 2133 DRAM and a Asus 770 GTX - he loves it, I do a fair amount on my Hero which is very similar to his though I have 32GB of Trident 26666 DRAM and an Asus 280X CU Top

I am editing on Adobe cc suite and I am using Matrox mini to capture plus sony software to capture from cards. I am now running I7 950 @3.07 GHz. I am rrunning a gigabyte board wit 8 gb of memory
