KVM switch question

trying to set up 4 separate computers to a nice 42" wall mounted tv, the computers are spaced throughout a room, its a small home office setup. my question is will a simple 4 port kvm switch do the job? the goal is to be able to display work from any of the computers on the big screen so it can be worked on cooperatively. all i should need is the switch right? cheers

just making sure. also, i can just not plug in the usb cables since i'm only using it for the display right?
