Over the past few days I've been researching new hardware for a PC I will be (hopefully) building soon. Right now, all I have is a full tower case. I'm looking to spend no more than $1700 on the remaining parts. For a point of reference, I'd like this system to play Skyrim on ultra with visual mods. My monitor is currently at 1080p, but in a year or so I may upgrade to 2k.

The case I have right now is a Sentey Extreme Division GS-6600 Wolf Black 1mm SECC ATX Full Tower Computer Case, and my tentative decisions for parts are as follows:

CORSAIR TX Series CMPSU-750TX 750W ATX12V v2.3

Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO - CPU Cooler with 120 mm PWM Fan

G.SKILL Sniper 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM

Intel Core i7-4770K Haswell 3.5GHz

2x GIGABYTE GV-N770OC-4GD GeForce GTX 770 Windforce

I will also need a decent motherboard, I've looked but I have not reached a definitive conclusion. My other choice for a video card would be the r9 290x, but I don't know if that would be necessary for this system.
Any help or constructive criticism would be greatly appreciated! This is my first time researching computer hardware in quite some time, and weeding out the sugar from the salt has proven difficult.

Since you closed down the original thread I'll just repost what I posted there:

You don't need a 4930k to play skyrim; at most get a 4770k if you want to future proof, otherwise i5-4570k overclocked to 4.3-4.5 GHz will also do fine. You also don't need the 16 GB of RAM; 8 GB will work fine.

For the CPU cooler, get a Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo for a cheap and effective solution. If you are willing to pay a bit more, you can look at Noctua NH-D14 (works really well but is massive in terms of size and weight).

If you end up switching to 4770k or another LGA 1150 socket chip, I suggest looking at Asus Maximus VI Hero.

Yeah as was stated for $1700 a 4930K is complete overkill. Instead of a single GTX 780 - go for dual GTX 770 instead. I'm personally not a fan of the Maximus - too overpriced when the same motherboard from Asrock or Gigabyte costs $75 less.
