Is my current specs good enough to run with geforce gtx 770

Hello im looking to moving all the way up to a Gtx 770 from a gtx 560 so i was wondering if my current specs are good enough to run the mighty geforce gtx 770?
current specs:
Operating system: Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit SP1
Cpu: Intel Core i5 3570K @ 3.40GHz
Ram: 8gb
Motherboard: GIGABYTE Z77-DS3H Motherboard
Gpu: geforce gtx 560
harddrive: 466GB Western Digital

you'll be fine with the i5 3570k and 8gb of ram, if you do need more CPU, you can always OC

What is your power supply?

The 770 draws about the same as a 560ti at full load and almost the same as the 560
I expect your current PSU should be fine





If you're thinking of a new PSU, the Antec HCG 620M is $50 after MIR

what about your power supply?
but otherwise you are good to go...
your i5 is a beast for gaming...
you might consider overclock it a bit but you would need to get aftermarket heatsink for that and it´s not necessary yet...

which model?

I expect though if you've been running the 560 fine, the 770 shouldn't be much of a problem

The fermi cards (4xx/5xx) were massive power suckers

Its the nvidia model. Btw do you know if there is major difference on Nvidia and EVGA quality wise? I know msi is shit but i dont know about EVGA

There are no nvidia 770's

They get people like EVGA, MSI, Gigabyte, ASUS to make cards for them
