I live in australia so prices are different, I'm not sure I want to go with 770's but I don't know what else to do, my graphics card budget is $1000 give or take $50 or so I would prefer to go with sli as with new gen gpu's you can get the best performance for money. I'm also thinking of getting different RAM but not sure what to get. Any suggestions are welcome :D

Edit: just to clear things up; it will be used for both high end gaming at a high res and some video/image editing hence the ram

If it's primarily a gaming rig you don't need 16 GB ram, 8 will be fine. Also I suggest Corsair ram. For $1000 you could just go ahead and get a 780 or a titan, also I would change the motherboard to an Asus Z87 Pro as it has built in wifi. I would keep the cpu and the cooler is fine.

its not primarily for gaming which is why I have more ram, in autralia you cannot get a titan for $1000 and even so 2 overclocked 770's is fare better I don't want wifi as it provides a slower connection and I am next to my router anyway, 1 780 is not as good a dual 770's by a long way so thanks, but no thanks. I hope that didn't sounds to harsh but yeah.

Oh, didn't know you were in AU. I recommended A 780 as some people prefer 1 GPU, but if you like SLI go for it! And you are right Ethernet will be much better than wi-fi. Great build mate!
