I have just moved my computer to another room and the monitor wont connect properly. I have tried HDMI, DVI, and VGA. The monitor will read HDMI/DVI/VGA No signal. I have tried plugging the cables in both ways. Just to be clear the monitor will shut down after a few seconds, but the computer will stay on. It functioned properly 30 minutes ago. The monitor will not do anything other then show the HDMI/DVI/VGA No signal screen then go to sleep mode. I can switch between any of the inputs but none of them work.

you likely shook the video card or some power cord loose when you moved the computer. pull the side of the case off, pull out the video card and plug it back in. make sure the ram is in and locked down. and make sure all the plugs are in and solidly attached to the hardware.

turn on the computer and see what happens after you do this.

I have the exact same problem, for me it was my monitor that was the problem not the computer. Still am stuck with a "broken" monitor and no explanation
