I have older PC ( WIN 7/ AMD 3.0 MHZ Duo core / Asus M2N32-SLI DELUXE / 6Gb ram / 2 MSI NX800GT cards in SLI / 750 Power supply )
I would like setup to my LG 55” HDTV as second monitor. The video cards have what is referred to as Mazarine DVI .With a HDMI adapter made by MSI ( that didn't come with the cards ) they are supposes to be able to produce video and audio out via HDMI cable to HDTV.
Does anyone have or know where I can get this adapter and have use it and knows that it works .
I hate to have to go to a new card with HDM port when these cards will work fine , if I can get them hooked up.
I just tried IOGEAR USB to HDMI and it won't work with software such as games that need to use the vid card. Anything being streamed works fine.
Any an all advice will be appreciated

I hope I´m not totally wrong:
When MSI launched RX2600XT, the card had blue DVI connectors. MSI called them mazarine DVI. The ATI based card had a built in audio codec and could output both digital audio and video thru the DVI, using the Mazarine DVI-to-HDMI adapter.

nVidia had to connect the videocard (NX800GT) to an internal SPDIF connector, using "dvi convertible output". I´m not sure if MSI used the same mazarine converter on NX800GT, sorry.

Anyhow, two version exists, the first one 24+1 DVI-to-HDMI with audio adapter, used on ATI 2xxx cards.
The ATI 3xxx/4xxx/5xxx based cards changed to 18+1 DVI-to-HDMI with audio adapter.

Not so sure any of the two ATI adapters work on you cards. Check if a SPDIF audio connector...
