MSI 970A-G43 AM3+ AMD 970 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX AMD Motherboard
8GB of Crucial Ballistix Tacticall 240-Pin DDR3 RAM
AMD FX 6300 Six Core CPU
Radeon R9-270X 2GB GDDR5 Overclocked edition
Western Digital 500GB Hardrive at 7200RPM
CORSAIR CX series CX500 500W ATX12V v2.3 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Active PFC Power Supply
This would be my first gaming PC.
Im hoping I get at least high in BF4 at 60 fps and CoD Ghosts high or ultra at 60+ fps. Also note that My GPU will have mantle and BF4 is mantle supported so keep that in mind. :)

you'll be able to play 1080p high no problem

Have you built yet? the MSI board isn't that good

Do you currently have that build ? If not , I can find you a better deal provided you tell me where you live and your budget.

Based on this , you should get similar or lower FPS. BF3 and BF4 's graphics shouldn't be really different , but BF4 for sure has better graphics , so maybe 50+ FPs at those settings ?

I have not built and my budget is 650$. You think you can find something better, I will allow 670$ MAX but thats it. I would like BF4 on High at 60+fps and ultra 30-50+ fps at 1080p.

Here is an entire new build
$10 more gets you a higher quality PSU and is semi-modular
$10 also gets you what is imo a better motherboard
$70 more gets you an 7950 boost

You'll probably have a lot of LOW frame rates with that FX-6300 CPU. However with that budget I don't know if I can recommend anything better.

You probably don't care, but BF4 will likely run much better on the PS4 than a computer you can build on this budget.

Thanks but I think Ill stick with my current build, although I liked the motherboard it was over my budget, so what do you think of the ASRock 960GM/U3S3 FX AM3+ AMD 760G SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 Micro ATX AMD Motherboard. Is it better than my current one I have listed?

I disagree, the PS4 plays like 900p high while the 7870XT is sold 1080p high or maybe even a bit better

The FX 6300 will tear bf4 apart in single player, and it should hold well in multi player

afaik, dunno if ps4 will have option to do 64 player servers, while the FX630 should do fine in it

The AsRock is okay though I don't like how it doesn't have a heat sink on the VRM's

Too be honest I dont think so, considering the Recommended Specs for BF4 for an AMD processor is a Six core processor, which the AMD 6300 is and since BF4 is AMD Optimized with my CPU and GPU it should run quite well. :)

Anything claimed for BF4 should be taken with a grain of salt until EA fixes all the problems, and there are plenty. The only thing I'd say is the game runs better on lower end hardware than what most thought it would.
