Hello, i just upgraded my gpu from 8400 gs 512 mb ddr3 to hd 6450 1gb dd3.
With 6450 hs i am experiencing fram rate issues, in gta 4 my fps are 30 to 40 fps in lowest settings but frames just becmoe fast or slow.. it is not lag but some stuttering
I tried gta 4, mafia 2, test drive 2
all able to play with 30 + fps but some
fps blocking
My pc has pci -e 1.0 and hd 6450 requires pci 2.1 so does it have issues??
Before with 8400 gs my fps in above games was 18 -30 fps but there was no fps stuttering like gameplay was smooth

Intel Core 2 duo E4500 @2.20Ghz
3.25 gb of ram
Hd 6450 1gb dd3
Windows xp sp3
power supply 230 w
