Recommend HDD Advise

Guys i need a HDD Ill be using it only for gaming and OS I will Buy an SSD later after a month... but not now because im very tight on budget!!! It can be 1tb or 2tb ....

Get a Western Digital or Seagate 1 TB HD. Make sure it's 7,200 rpm and SATA 3 (6gbs) and you should be good for a bit.

Is it good for OS??? ...ps I dont care if the boots up slow because after a month ill get an SSD ....!!!! ill be partitioning it !

It will boot just fine. I don't know what you mean by slow, but it'll boot up quick enough. It's not as fast as an SSD, but what can you expect from a mechanical HD?

Im confused with WD there are 3 types blue,green and black??

Green is for low power consumption (slowest of the 3 drives), Blue is medium performance, and Black is the fastest of the 3 drives. The Blue drive to me is the best value for the performance. If you want to spend for the fastest of the 3 drives, the Black is the one to get.

The HD is good for OS and games and anything you want to put on it. Once you get your SSD though, I would put the OS on it and any apps/games that you want fast load/boot times.
