So I am about to build my first PC, and I have a part's list ( http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/p/1Xetj )

Now as you can see I do have a Mother Board on that list, it was recommended to me by someone on here (If I remember correctly). Now I am looking at making it all pretty and I kind of want it to be Black/White. So the only real issue I know of with that board is that it is blue.

Now I am looking at other Mother Boards but I have no real idea what I am looking at with regards to features other than it having a AM3+ socket (and it being black).

So pretty much it all comes down to, what am I looking for? Like what are warning signs, what sort of companies should I stay away from?

Or if you would rather give me a quick answer, what board would you recommend?

Well thank's for your time :D

you want PCI-e 3.0, SATA 6GB/s (SATA III), a high end chipset (like the one in your parts list) and SLI / CrossFireX (for milti-GPU support)

and most importantly for it to be stable and reliable (user reviews will help on your judgement on this)

Is PCI-e 3.0 really that important?

I have found a few boards that look interesting, what do you guys think of these 3:
Asus Sabertooth 990FX R2.0
Gigabyte GA-990FXA-UD3
Gigabyte GA-990FXA-UD5

They all look good. PCI-e 3.0 is important because it provides 16GB/s over the 8GB/s of PCI-e 2.0
