  1. No the processor is fine. But a 6300 would be better.

The 6100 will be a huge upgrade, your current one is rather meh. I suggest getting a 6300 over a 6100 though.

I am seriously considering upgrading from my Phenom ii 4 965 to a FX 6350 (just for ENB maxed out Skyrim!) but am super worried I will spend 130€ for no improvement, are you sure it's a big upgrade? What kind of improvement will I see?

my specs are in my signature.

    Cheers for your input.
  4. You will get a rather large upgrade, though a 6300 is the same chip as a 6350 with a lower clock, so I would advise you to go for that.

Here is a best-case scenario of how much boost you might get in a recent, well-threaded game:

  6. wow 6350 looks amazing I might get that when i get enough money its not that expensive either its like 100 dollars
  7. The 6300 is the 6350 but with a slower factory clock, which you can easily change yourself. The 6350 is a waste of money, really.
