I am using Dell T3500 workstation model. My system showing 1680 x 1050 as my maximum resolution available. But as per my graphics card i can get upto 2560 x 1600. I have also installed the latest driver.

Can anyone help me get this resolved.

Spec:

Monitor:

Dell P2210

Graphics Card:

NVIDIA Quadro FX 580

http://www.cnet.com/graphics-cards/nvidia-quadro-fx-580...

Cable:

DVI-D Dual Link Cable

http://www.amazon.in/DVI-D-Dual-Cable-Black-meter/dp/B0...

Windows:

Windows 7 Pro 64bit

Question:

1 ) does the maximum resolution depends on the Cable we connect?

2 ) does the maximum resolution depends on the monitor?

Looking for solution to get maximum resolution. Thanks.

Your max resolution on that screen is 1680X1050. I would look into an upgrade... Monitors aren't too pricy, worth looking into.

Thanks for your reply. So in my case, the problem is my monitor supports only upto 1680 x 1050.

Thanks again.
