I've have resently decided to build my own computer, which I have almost managed to do. The one final problem is when I try to boot up the system, it seems to be doing fine. It gets to the point, where the Windows logo appears (I am using a HDD with an existing version of Windows 7) and it says "Starting Windows". Then out of nowhere, it just makes a blue screen of death for just a second. Then the computer shuts down. It then repeats the cycle on and on. I have tried to overwrite the system by installing another version of Windows 7, but it crashed at the same point again.
I am about to try with a empty HDD which was formatted for the purpose. I'll update if anything changes.

My setup is as follows:
Intel core i5-4670 quadcore @ standard 3.4Ghz
CoolerMaster G550M 550W
MSI Z87-G45 Gaming
Kingston HyperX Beast 2x4Gb 1600Mhz DDR3
MSI GeForce GTX 760 2Gb PhysX Cuda

Any answer is appreciated!
Best regards, Frederik!

Solution
Frederik, I think a fresh install on a formatted disk is the best approach. That way it will only have the drivers needed for your system.
