After unexpected auto reboot, some programs fail at boot (systray) and right click on desktop icons and files crashes Explorer. I have tried disabling "context' in the registry but it didn't completely fix the problem, which recurred after reboot. Any suggestions for the next step?

Check your PC for viruses. If there is no viruses run Sfc /scannow option in CMD. If that doesnt detect anything run check disk. Here u have a guide http://www.howtogeek.com/howto/windows-vista/guide-to-using-check-disk-in-windows-vista/
