On the system requirements for COD:Ghost it says it requires for the minimum settings a 'Video: NVIDIA® GeForce® GTS 450 / ATI® Radeon™ HD 5870 or better'. I have the Radeon 7770 Ghz edition and curious if I can run this game at 190x1080 in max settings.

According to Tom's hierarchy chart, the 7770 is two tiers below the 5870. You specifically asked if you can play the game at 1920x1080 at max settings. You will certainly be able to select 1920x1080 for your resolution. As far as the various quality settings, you will have to try them and see. How was your gaming experience with the previous CoD title at 1920x1080 and max settings? Was that playable? It's reasonable to assume that new title will be more taxing, but exactly how much more demanding remains to be seen. There's also quite a few other requirements in addition to the GPU. The CPU and the amount of system RAM also factors in, but to a lesser degree. Again, I'd use your experience with previous CoD titles as a basis for an educated guess.

My current rig is as follows:
i5 3470 3.2Ghz
Gigabyte b75m-d3h MB
Radeon 7770 Ghz Edition
Corsair 500w PSU
1TB HD
8GB Corsair Ram
H60 Watercooler

I played MW2 maxed out 60FPS, I haven't played other COD titles on my PC but as seen on videos, people can run MW3 and Blackops II max settings 1920x1080 with the 7770.

I have 1 HD 7770 GHZ edition and run Ghosts on 1920x1080 with textures on high with above 60FPS. The card runs newer games better than the HD 5870 (Had it for years before it died) Of course AA and shadows are off as well as ambient occlusion etc. Just got a 2nd 7770 will have it by Friday for CF, originally got the 7770 as a cheap emergency replacement lol.

As for the BO2 comment you can't run it maxed on the 7770, you need to turn down shadows and AA etc

I have B02 and play it fully maxed out with a stable 50FPS...

Yeah my bad was referring to Ghosts, I've always played BO2 maxed. Even with new beta driver Ghosts has terrible performance in crossfire, runs far better with 1 card :(
