air cooling suggestions ?

im looking for an air cpu cooler thats not as big as the d14 a bit smaller but lets you over clock a fx 8350 to 4.6 with in safe temps. any suggestions? thanks

I suggest the Zalman CNPS9900MAX. Smaller in each dimension than the Noctua NH-D14, but similar performance, or possibly a little better (at least according to one benchmark I found: http://www.guru3d.com/articles_pages/zalman_cnps_9900_max_review,7.html)

In that test, they limited the fan speed to 80% on all coolers. IMHO, this skews thew results and makes it difficult to make an informed decision because the results will favor the high-revving noisy fans over the slower speed, quieter fans, like the NH D14 has.
